Established in 2018, AT FULL LIGHTING specializes in large-scale entertainment and architectural lighting installations. Primarily acting as integrators and programmers for these systems, we seamlessly merge the art and technology needed to create a beautiful, yet simply controlled system.
Based in New York City, AT FULL LIGHTING is located at the center of the Architectural and Theatrical Lighting Industry. Our work can be seen from the skyline of NYC, to the Theme Parks of Dubai.
AT FULL LIGHTING offers a full suite of services. From commissioning new system installations, to providing continued programming updates and maintenance contracts, we will support your lighting system every step of the way.
SAM UPDIKE
Owner, Lead Programmer
Sam has been based out of New York for the past eight years.
Before starting At Full Lighting, he held various positions in many different areas of the lighting industry. He’s worked as shipwide show control on cruise ships, spent ten months living in Dubai commissioning a new amusement park, and has volunteered his time at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival two years in a row.
Sam has worked for various manufacturers and lighting integrators in the US and abroad, acting both as a project manager and a service technician. He has been an ETC Factory Certified Technician for eight years and a member of their Advanced Programmers Group for the last six. He is also a certified trainer for ETC’s Eos line of consoles. He received a BFA in Theatrical Lighting Design from Virginia Commonwealth University.
